The PAMK 650 is a modular and flexible fully automated High Pressure forming machine. The PAMK 650 has an innovative horizontal transportation system. Therefore more modular station can be added, based on the customer requirements or even later added and removed when he requirements are changing. The standard modules are the loading module, 3 heating modules, the High Pressure Module and the unloading module. Additionally modules can be added are unloading robot, sorting station, Infrared camera, optical quality check, UV tunnel and trimming (horizontal cut and vertical cut).
The PAMK 650 short cycle time of < 15s cycle time is given by the process time of the forming station. The process times of all other stations are shorter then the forming time and do not influence the cycle time of the PAMK 650. This enables the flexibility to add modules and process steps without harming the short cycle time and therefore the output.
The PAMK 650 is loaded by a turntable film magazine. The foil supply can be refilled without any interruption to the production process. The films are moved from the film magazine onto pallets in a fully automated process.
Due to the large film magazine capacity of 2×200 mm, the PAMK 650 is able to operate continuously without the need of permanent human interaction. Visual and acoustic signals forewarn the operators when film supply is low.
The film is transported on film pallets to the individual modules.
The PAMK 650 incorporates three heating zones to ensure a gentle but fast warming up time for 3 films at the same time. The three heating zones of the PAMK 650 consist of 6 infrared heating elements on Upper-Lower heating each with 42 ceramic heating elements respectively. The first two zones are pre-heating stations with synchronized ceramic elements. In the main heating zone the temperature of each individual ceramic element is adjustable and therefore
results in perfect and product specific warming. The film upper side as well as the imprinted reverse side can be heated independently in a gentle and contactless manner. There is no danger of film damage due to uneven or one-sided warming as there is no direct contact to the film. Due to this process the PAMK 650 is also able to process hard coated, textured or
crystal clear films and even films with PE protective layer.
In addition, the molding tool in the forming station can be pre-heated to avoid rapid cooling of the film during the molding process.
